This is an initiative from the 2nd grade English Class.
We researched Japanese Culture.

From the students’ works

Tea ceremony is a traditional and popular Japanese culture. People sit in a Japanese style room on tatami. The tea is bitter, but we eat delicious wagashi with it.

Sushi is a popular Japanese food. It has a soft texture and is served with soy sauce. Salmon and tuna are famous varieties.

Tanabata is a traditional Japanese event. It is an annual event. Tanabata is famous in folktales.

Summer festivals are popular Japanese events. There are stalls are set up there. For example, stalls selling cotton candy or offering prize draws. Fireworks are set off at the end. Many people enjoy wearing yukata.

They also shared several other topics with us, including wagashi, dagashi, moon viewing, onigiri, and daruma.

Good job everyone. (^_^)v
