学校の位置・校区について

私たちの学校は和歌山市の中心部、和歌山城の北側にあり、和歌山市で最も古い学校のうちの1つで、現在184人の学生がいます。

Wakayama Prefecture is located on Japan's main island, Honshu,in the "Kinki" district. The prefecture is a beautiful region with many mountainous areas and places of natural beauty. The prefecture's most famous agricultural products are mandarins('mikans') and plums ('ume-boshi'). Wakayama City is the capital of the prefecture and , with about 370,000 inhabitants, it is also the biggest city of the prefecture.

Fukko junior High School is located in downtown Wakayama City. Because of its location, the school is surrounded by many important landmarks and buildings. To the west of the school is Wakayama City Hall. Wakayama's castle can be found to the south of the school and to the east there is a hotel. The school is one of the oldest schools in the city and currently has a student population of 188 students.
